After discovering extensive termite damage at the beginning of 2010, Noel took on what we saw as a monumental task of re-building our family home. We decided that since we had to essentially strip half the house back to damaged studs, we might as well do some much needed renovation at the same time. Noel was able to provide us with a quote that was finely detailed with all the work to be done room by room, including approximate prices for fixtures, carpets, lighting etc.
In terms of budgeting, this made it easier to see exactly where we were spending and allocating funds which then made it convenient when communicating with our bank. During the design process Noel was able to advise on different that we could maximize our designs without compromising quality and space. In this quote and planning stage Noel surprised us by adding in things that we didn’t realise that we would need, eg: new front door, TV antenna, sliding door etc, thus allowing for no surprise costs along the way.
He was also incredibly patient as we carefully considered our options and made decisions.
Once demolition and construction started in late 2010 Noel was able to keep to schedule and kept in contact with us every step of the way, when more termite damage was found, we were informed immediately and repairs on that section of wall studs was completed as well with apparent ease. Even though extra tradespeople (plumber, painter & electrician) were used, all work was completed on time and we were able to move home when we had originally planned.
The quality of work was exceptionally amazing and we will definitely use Noel Biddle in any future renovation/ construction endeavors, a man of integrity and honoring his word, how grateful we are to have Noel do our construction work at such a stressful time.
